Talent is universal, opportunity is not.
U-Go was established with the goal of driving education equality in emerging markets – with an initial focus on helping a generation of ambitious and talented young women to achieve their dreams of higher education and a career that will bring them financial independence and an ability to help their families.
U-Go’s launch countries were Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Pakistan and Vietnam. We are excited to now be launching U-Go Philippines as the 7th country of operations. In partnership with the Ayala Foundation, we have established the bold goal of enabling 1,000 young Filipina women to pursue university education during the period 2022-25.
U-Go Philippines works to remove financial barriers to achieving a university education, as well as ensures thoughtful support for these promising women, through quarterly guidance sessions, access to a pre-graduation internship / job network, as well as mentorship matching.
We invite you to partner with us towards the goal of enabling all Filipina women towards a university education:
- Php 50,000 would cover one year’s costs for textbooks, school supplies, as well as food / transportation / clothing / internet allowance, to ensure that she may focus entirely on achieving her full potential in a public university.
- Php 200,000 would support a promising young woman towards a four-year university track.
Ayala Foundation's campaigns are authorized through DSWD Solicitation Permit No. DSWD-SB-SP-00037-2023, Valid Nationwide Until September 1, 2024.
